  • ForwardHealth brings together many Department of Health Services health care and nutritional assistance benefit programs with the goal of improving health outcomes for members and creating efficiencies for providers.
     
  • Benefits.gov provides links to government benefits including health, food and educational resources.
     
  • Children’s Community Options Program (CCOP) funds many supports and services that you can’t get through other insurance, Medicaid, or the Children’s Long-Term Support Program. It can also pay for a one-time need.
     
  • Children’s Long Term Support (CLTS) Waivers helps children with disabilities and their families through supports and services that help children grow and live their best lives.It uses a Medicaid waiver to fund services for kids with disabilities. A waiver lets states use Medicaid to fund additional non-medical services and supports not normally offered.  CLTS funds may be use for vehicle modifications respite care, therapeutic equipment, and other types of approved equipment and services. 
     
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a federal income supplement program which allows eligible children with long-term disabilities, mental illness or complex medical needs to obtain a Wisconsin ForwardHealth Medicaid card and supplemental income. 
     
  • NeedyMeds has free information on medication and healthcare cost savings programs including prescription assistance programs
     
  • United Healthcare Children's Foundation provides medical grants to children who are covered under a commercial health insurance plan.
